Last updated: November 2, 2026. This covers the beta of the Scan Sheet iPhone app and the Scan Office Mac app.
Nothing. The apps have no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We don't receive your lists, scans, photos or contact details.
Your lists, serial numbers, label photos and the name, email and company you type in Settings are stored on your iPhone or Mac. They leave it only when you choose to send them: by email, by saving a file, or to a Scan Office you paired with on your own network.
The camera reads barcodes and printed serials on equipment labels. Text on a label is read on the phone itself. The local network permission lets the phone find a Scan Office on the same Wi-Fi; that traffic stays on your network and is encrypted.
The beta is free to use until March 2, 2027. Features in it may become part of a paid subscription later. If that changes what is collected, this page will say so before it happens.
